According to the latest notice released by Chhattisgarh Public Sevice Commission (CGPSC), the commission is reopening the application form for the post of Assistant Professor recruitment 2019-2020. Now, the form will get reopened on December 6, 2019, and can be submitted till December 20, 2019.
For the same purpose, the commission has released the new advertisement containing all the information regarding the application form. One can check the advt no. 12/2019 on the official website of the commission which is psc.cg.gov.in. Prior to this, the last date to apply online was March 12, 2019.
As per the information laid down under the notice issued by the CGPSC, applicants can do the correction in the submitted form too, once the correction window gets open. The window will get open on December 23, 2019, until December 27, 2019, till 11:59 PM.
The commission has decided to reopen the form for those who were not able to submit the same earlier in the prescribed dates. Commission says who have already applied for the post need not submit the CGPSC assistant professor form again.
Candidates applying for the assistant professor post can select from a total of 27 subjects they want to apply for. For all the 27 subjects the commission has announced 1384 vacancies in total.
Based on the proposal of the department, those candidates who have applied in both the main subjects and the subjects related to the main subject, they will be eligible to appear in the written examination of either the main subject or its related subject.
For the same purpose, such candidates can submit their subject option online from January 10, 2020, till January 20, 2020.
The commission in the notification has mentioned, such candidates who will not mark their paper option in the prescribed time limit, then their request for the related paper will term cancelled. Then they will be allowed to appear for the written examination of the main paper only.
Candidates who wants to apply for the assistant professor post under the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission by visiting their official website, psc.cg.gov.in, once the link gets activated. To submit the form, the commission charges a fee of Rs. 300 from the SC, ST, OBC (non creamy layer) and PwD candidates and same for all other candidates are Rs. 400. To be eligible to apply for the assistant professor post, CGPSC demands that an applicant must have passes postgraduation in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. Moreover, one must also adhere to the age bar prescribed by the commission. The minimum age of the person should be 21 years and maximum to be 30 years.
