CEED 2022: Last Date to Apply Is Today, Exam Date is 23 Jan

Candidates aspiring to go for a Master’s in Design can apply for CEED 2021 registration form ending today with a late fine of INR 500.

CEED 2022 Application form

The CEED 2022 application form filling is ending today on the official website, ceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates who have basic eligibility and are aspiring to pursue M.Des from any of the top 5 IITs can apply for the examination with a late fine of INR 500. It must be noted that today is the last day and now the convenors are in no mood to extend the registration days further as it has been done multiple times in the past.

As per the official brochure of CEED 2022, the examination is scheduled for January 23, 2022, and the admit card download shall commence on January 08, 2022. Similar way, the result for the entrance examination is going to be released on March 08, 2022. Candidates who successfully clear the entrance exam will be called for counseling by top participating IITs i.e. IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur, and IISc Bangalore.

CEED 2022 is going to be held in partly objective and partly descriptive paper. There shall be two sections in the part A and B, and part A is going to have 8 NAT, 10 MSQ, and 23 MSQ from different subjects. For each correct answer of NAT and MSQ 3 marks shall be awarded whereas for MSQ, there is a provision of 2 marks. There is a prescribed negative marking for each type of question asked in the examination, for NAT questions there is no negative marking. For MSQ and MCQ, there will be a penalty of 0.2 and 0.5 marks respectively.

Section B comprises 5 questions based on sketching, Creativity, Form Sensitivity, Visual Sensitivity, and Problem Identification etc. Section B is going to be qualifying in nature and there is no prescribed negative marking scheme. Candidates will get 20 marks for each correct answer.

Candidates can check out the correct steps to register for the upcoming CEED 2022 exam from the space below:

Step 1: Visit the official portal of CEED, ceed.iitb.ac.in/2022

Step 2: Find and click on the CEED Registration button on the homepage. After this, enter a valid email address and submit it to receive the activation URL on mail

Step 3: Click on the CEED 2022 URL to access the application form. After this, enter basic personal details of candidates such as candidate’s name, date of birth, academic qualification, permanent address, etc

Step 4: After this, fill the academic qualification, preferred test center and then proceed to the upload section to submit the scanned copy of the photograph and signature

Step 5: Cross-verify, if all the details entered on the CEED application form 2021, are correct, and then move to the payment page. In the end, pay the application admissible to the candidate’s category and save a copy of the application form
