CDAC Admit Card Download Starts Today at 5 PM from Login for Dec 2019 exam for Feb 2020 batch

Candidates who have applied for the CDAC C-CAT Dec 2019 exam for Feb 2020 PG Diploma admissions can download their admit cards from today onwards.

CDAC Admit Card

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) is conducting C-CAT December 2019 exam for admission to PG Diploma courses in the February 2020 batch. For this CDAC C-CAT Dec 2019 for Feb 2020, admit card can be downloaded from today, at cdac.in login. The exams CCAT I and CCAT II are scheduled to be held on December 8, 2019, and December 15, 2019 respectively.

As per the official schedule of examination, the date from which admit card download is to start is today, December 4, 2019. Starting time has not been mentioned, however CDAC has over the years consistently been releasing the hall tickets at 5 pm in the evening on scheduled dates. The same time is anticipated to be applicable for today’s event.

In order to download the admit card, candidates who have applied for the exam need to go to cdac.in. Then they have to click “next batch of PG Diploma courses commencing on 18 February 2020” link under the education and training section. On the next page, scroll down and click candidate login.

Or, they can directly go to cdac.in/index.aspx?id=studentslogin, enter form number and password, and login to get their admit card.

The admit card issued by CDAC contains hall ticket number, name of candidate, date of the CCAT exam, sections appearing in, courses applied for, name of test centre, address of test centre, contact number of the test centre. Besides, there are general instructions also for all the candidates.

It is recommended to CDAC examinees to get familiar with the computer based CCAT through practice sessions available online. 

It is compulsory to carry the admit card to the exam center in order to get entry to exam hall. Candidates must arrive at the center on time. In addition to the hall ticket, a photo identity card should also be carried. No other personal belongings, or electronic items will be allowed. 

When the exam starts, test takers should first go through the instructions and then start with test. 

CDAC C-CAT exam will have three sections namely A, B, C. Each will be of one hour duration. The institute has divided candidates in categories I, II, III on the basis of the courses they have applied for. Depending on category, candidates will have to appear in any one, or two, or all three sections. 

Each section in CCAT shall have 50 multiple choice questions with 4 options each. Only one option will be correct in each question. Marking scheme for the exam is +3, -1.

After the exam, result of CCAT will be announced, for both the exam dates, on December 27, 2019. Online selection of courses and centres that is the first counselling will be from December 27, 2019 to January 6, 2020. Results of first round will be published on January 8, 2020. Candidates who are allotted a seat can pay the first instalment by January 16, 2020.
