The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Term 1 results of class 10th and 12th soon. The Term 1 exams for classes 10 and 12 were conducted in November-December 2021. Students would be able to check their results through various websites, namely, cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.gov.in, and digilocker.gov.in. Government apps such as Digilocker and Unified Mobile Application for New Age Governance (UMANG) can also be utilized by students to access their board exam results. It can be stated that more than one portal has been arranged to display the results in order to avoid heavy traffic. Candidates can check out the steps to download from these websites below.
cbseresults.nic.in – How to Check
Step 1. Visit the official web portal cbseresults.nic.in
Step 2. Click on the link marked NEW which says “CBSE Term I results for class X/XII “
Step 3. Candidates would be directed to another window where they need to mention the school number and Roll number. Thereafter, click on “Submit”.
Step 4. The result will be displayed. Download and print for future reference.
results.gov.in – How to Check
Step 1. On the website scroll down till you find the link for term 1 results for class 10th and 12th.
Step 2. After clicking on the link, it will be redirected to a new web page. Therein, candidates need to enter the roll number and school number.
Step 3. Click on “Submit” following which one will be able to see and print the CBSE Term1 results.
digilocker.gov.in – Steps to Check
Step 1. On your browser open the website and head on to “student portal”.
Step 2. Sign in using the mobile number registered with CBSE. Get OTP and complete login successfully
Step 3. Click on 10th/12th mark-sheet download.
UMANG
Step 1. On the home page, click on “All services”
Step 2. Click on the “CBSE Results” section.
Step 3. Enter credentials, like roll number and school number.
Step 4. The result would be displayed.
Digilocker
Step 1. After downloading the app, register on the platform using Aadhar number.
Step 2. Under the ‘Central Government’ section, click on the CBSE icon.
Step 3. Click on either ‘Class X Mark sheet or ‘Class XII Mark sheet.
Step 4. On the following page, enter passing year i.e. 2022, and roll number.
Step 5. Thereafter, click on “Get document”. The document will be downloaded and saved in the “Issued Documents” section.
It is important for the students to note that result status i.e. pass or essential repeat is not indicated by their Term 1 results, according to CBSE. They will only be indicated after Term 2 is held and the results are declared.
In addition Term 2 date sheets have also been prepared and will be released soon on cbseacademic.nic.in. Meanwhile, students should start with the preparations for Term 2 as CBSE has released two sample papers for term 2 for class X and XII on cbseresults.nic.in; cbseacademic.nic.in. The 2nd term exams are expected to happen in March-April 2022. Students may download and attempt these papers to get a clear idea of portions to be asked in upcoming exams.
