CBSE Private Candidate Admit Card 2020

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has confirmed that they will release the admit card for private students, to appear in the class 10, 12 board examinations 2020, in the month of February.

All the students who have successfully applied as private candidates for the Feb-March 2020 exams, will be able to download their admit cards from the official website, cbse.nic.in. The download process will require visiting the website and navigating to the admit card download page, and then logging in with either application number, or previous roll number and year, or name.

CBSE private candidate admit card 2020 will not only be required to gain entry to exam hall, it will also be required to get their marksheet cum certificate from the examination centre. Exam center

A private candidates admit card download link is already active under CBSE, as cbseonline.ernet.in/pvtform/pvtAdmCard.aspx. This was where the admit card for private candidates was released last year. It is likely that the download page shall remain same for this year’s students as well. The final link, whether old or new, will be available at cbse.nic.in.

Broadly five categories of students were allowed to enroll as private candidates for the CBSE board exam 2020; candidates who were declared fail in 2019, those who were placed in compartment in July 2019 exams, those who were put in compartment in main exam but did not appear in July exam in 2019, students who passed in 2019 but wish to appear for improving their performance in one or more subjects, those who passed in 2014 or after and wish to appear in an additional subject.

A new official website active at cbse.nic.in/newsite/private/index.html was launched by CBSE earlier this year, exclusively for private candidates. It was here that online applications were accepted from August 26 to September 30, 2019.

Through the admit card, the national board will convey allotted exam centers to candidates. Center once allotted shall be final, and no requests to change them shall be entertained by the board. Fresh roll numbers will also be generated for the 2020 exams; no one will be allowed to appear using old roll numbers.

CBSE class 10, 12 date sheet 2020 will be common for regular as well as private students. Basically the examination process will be the same, however applications for the exam, marksheet issuance differ for private students.

Exam dates will be announced either this month or the next. CBSE has confirmed already that exams will start on February 15, 2020, and end by March 31, 2020. The board has also confirmed that they will declare results for private candidates in the month of May.

Central Board of Secondary Education has recently introduced Artificial Intelligence as a subject from the session 2019-2020. In the press release published today, CBSE says “The study material for teaching Artificial Intelligence in classes VIII and IX has already been provided to schools through the CBSE’s website (http://cbseacademic.nic.in/ai.html)”. Intel, IBM, Microsoft are few organizations that CBSE has collaborated with to conduct training porgrams on the subject.
