Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has come up with the list of the subjects for the session 2019. A few days back, CBSE has confirmed the dates of the examinations and it was assuming that the entire schedule will be available this week. But CBSE has cleared all these assumptions and announced the list of the subjects of which examinations are proposed to be held in the month of February and March.
For the year 2019, CBSE has decided to conduct the examinations a bit earlier as compared to the last year. Therefore, CBSE has issued the notice that the examinations for class 10th and class 12th will start after February 15. But this time there is something new. This time CBSE first conduct the examinations for the vocational subjects followed by the examinations of the core subjects in the month of March.
Thus, on October 05, 2018 CBSE has released the list of all the vocational as well as the core subjects for February and March examinations 2019.
Through some reports, this also came to know that this week CBSE has decided to release the list of the subjects rather than the entire schedule of the examinations. Also, CBSE will release the date sheet of class 10th and 12th by the end of this year.
So, all those students who are eagerly waiting for the entire date sheet for session 2019, have some patience. You will receive the exact date sheet by the month of December.
CBSE is offering total 40 vocational subjects for the students of class 10th and class 12th. On the other hand, combining the vocational and core subjects there are a total of 240 subjects offered for class 10th and class 12th. language is the only compulsory subject for class 12th students while language, mathematics, science, and social science are the compulsory subjects for class 10th. So, students are free to choose the combination of the subjects along with the mandatory subjects.

On July 11, 2018, High Court of Delhi has issued the order to CBSE for concluding the process of main examinations as well as re-evaluation result before the release of the cut-off of Delhi University. This decision is taken into the account of the betterment of the future of the lakhs of the students. So, to improve its examination process, CBSE has come up with the decision of conducting the examination a bit earlier than the previous year.
