Yes, CBSE has now confirmed the passing criteria for the students of class 10th. On October 11, 2018, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official notice on its website- cbse.nic.in. According to it, all the students who are going to appear for class 10, 2019 examinations are now exempted from separate pass criteria in the internal assessment. Despite this students now need to score overall 33% percentage of marks both in internal and theory paper. At the same time if any student got absent in practical/ internal assessment then the marks will be provided 0 (zero) and the result will be evaluated accordingly.

For the year 2019, CBSE has come up with a lot of changes in the pattern of the examination both for class 10th and 12th students. CBSE believes that learning will become more powerful by facing new challenges. For every student, it is must to know his/ her potential at All India level. And not only board exams but there are other scholarship programs also to lure the students at the school level.

Now, if we talk about the last year, then CBSE has taken into account the combined marks of internal and the theory exams. So, those students who scored total 33% marks were declared as pass in class 10th examinations.

Thus, CBSE has finally decided to continue with the same passing criteria for class 10th students from 2019 onwards.  Few weeks before some of the reports stating that CBSE will now ask for the separate assessment marks. But, students worry not, CBSE has confirmed that students need to score overall 33% (both in internal and theory exams).

Not only in the pattern and the assessment but CBSE has also introduced the changes in its date sheet. For the upcoming session, i.e 2019 CBSE is going to conduct the class 10th and 12th examinations after February 15. The vocational subject exams will conduct first in the month of February followed by the core subject exams in the month of March. This major decision by keeping in mind the problems faced by the students the previous year.

Datesheet for class 10th and class 12th exams for the year 2019 will be available by the end of this year. Presently, the board has released the list of the vocational and core subjects to be included in 2019 board exams.

CBSE class 10 and class 12 examinations are going to conduct a bit earlier this year. The pattern of the english paper of class 12 is changed for the year 2019 and now the relaxation in the passing criteria for class 10th students. The list is not ended here. CBSE is bringing a lot of new changes for the year 2019. So, guys get yourself ready and start your preparation. Have a nice day!

All The Best!
