CBSE Class 12th Tourism, AC & Refrigeration and Salesmanship exam 2021

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully concluded the class 12th term 1 examinations for Tourism, AC & Refrigeration and Salesmanship today, dated December 23, 2021. The students were provided a time duration of 90 minutes from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm for completing their respective exams. According to the CBSE guidelines, the students were advised to reach their exam centres half an hour early to avoid the confusion. The Tourism, AC & Refrigeration and Salesmanship subjects come under the skill education examinations conducted by the board, CBSE. The students had to attempt the MCQ format questions and mark their answers on the provided OMR sheet. The revised exam pattern and bifurcated syllabus regarding these subjects were already provided by the conducting body on their official website i.e cbse.nic.in. 

CBSE Class 12th Tourism Examination Analysis

The Class 12th term 1 Tourism exam was conducted offline through the pen-and-paper mode. The Tourism exam was not lengthy and could be completed within the provided time duration. The exam paper consisted of easy-to-moderate level questions. The questions were entirely based on the bifurcated syllabus provided on the website by the board, CBSE. To understand the exam pattern better, the board also provided the Class 12th Tourism sample paper to the students. The question paper was familiar to the students who practiced from the provided sample paper. 

The Tourism question paper consisted of two parts, part A- Employability Skills and part B- Subject Specific Skills. The Employability Skills consisted of three units; Communication Skills- IV, Self Management Skills- IV and Information, and Communication Technology Skills- IV and the Subject Specific Skills consisted of four units, Introduction to Travel and Tour Operations Business, Operations of Travel Agency, Transport Network, and Itinerary Planning. The entire Tourism question paper consisted of a total of 30 marks. 

CBSE Class 12th AC & Refrigeration Examination Analysis

The AC & Refrigeration exam for CBSE Class 12th consisted of objective-based questions. The question paper was entirely based on the bifurcated syllabus provided by the board. The students were able to complete the entire AC & Refrigeration question paper within the given duration. The AC & Refrigeration question paper consisted of two units like the Tourism exam- Employability Skills and Subject Specific Skills. The units for Employability Skills were the same as the Tourism exam and the Subject Specific Skills included three units namely, psychrometry, Heat Transfer and Air Distribution, and Components of Refrigeration System. There were a total of 38 questions out of which the students had to answer only 30 questions consisting of a total of 30 marks. 

CBSE Class 12th Salesmanship Examination Analysis

The CBSE Class 12th Salesmanship exam was also conducted through objective-based format questions. The questions were entirely based on the provided CBSE bifurcated syllabus for the Salesmanship exam. The question paper consisted of the revised exam pattern provided on the sample paper. The questions were based on an easy-to-moderate level and could be completed within 90 minutes. The Salesmanship exam question paper consisted of two parts- Employability Skills and Subject Specific Skills. The units for the Employability Skills were the same as the Tourism and AC & Refrigeration Exam and Subject Specific Skills consisted of two units namely, Sales Organisation, and Inside Selling/ Store-Based Retailing. The question paper consisted of a total of 38 questions and students were required to attend 5 questions from Part A and any 25 questions from Part B.

The students are eagerly waiting for the in-depth exam analysis and the answer keys regarding the three skill-based examinations. As all the CBSE examinations are conducted in the objective-based format, the students will be provided the official and unofficial answer keys as soon as the exams are conducted. The unofficial answer keys are already out on various online educators and subject experts. The official answer keys are also expected to be released soon on the official website of the board, CBSE i.e cbse.nic.in. The students must stay active on the conducting body’s portal for notifications regarding official answer keys.
