The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the class 12th Hindi Elective examination 2021 today, dated December 16, 2021, across the country. The students were provided a duration of 90 minutes from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm to complete the examination. As per the provided guidelines of CBSE, the students reported half an hour early in their respective centers. The Hindi Elective examination was conducted in pen and paper-based offline mode. The exam was based on the revised syllabus and pattern for the term 1 examinations released by the board ahead of the exam. The bifurcated syllabus, exam pattern, and specimen paper for all the subjects were already published on the official website of the board, CBSE i.e cbse.nic.in.
According to the students, the question paper was not lengthy and could be completed within the provided duration. The questions were entirely based on the provided syllabus and the students who solved the sample paper found the familiar question paper pattern. The question paper consisted of moderate-to-high level questions and the entire question paper was based on objective-type questions.

The question paper consists of three sections, Sections A, B, and C. Moreover, the entire question paper was based on MCQ format questions. The CBSE Hindi Elective question paper had a total of 40 marks with no negative marking. Additional 20 minutes were provided to the students for reading the question paper.
