On March 27, 2019 CBSE class 12 Economics paper has conducted smoothly. The students coming out of the examination hall had mixed reactions. According to some students, the paper was easy while for some the paper consists few tricky questions. Thus by interviewing the different students, we have received a mixed reaction.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has designed the class 12 Economics question paper balanced and easy. Lakhs of students have appeared for the economics paper. According to students, CBSE class 12th Economics paper was easy but tricky.
Samridhi Priyadarshini, class 12 student of Lucknow Public School (LPS) said that the “paper contained complicated questions” While another student from the same school Manya Rastogi stated that only macroeconomics was tricky but he managed to attempt the questions as he had gone through the sample papers. According to Shreya Tiwari of LPS said that the paper was moderately difficult. It means the level of paper was neither very hard nor very easy.
Along with the mixed reactions of students, Economics teachers also stated that the paper was a challenging one. According to them who had attended the classes regularly and prepared well could only attempt all the questions. As per the teachers CBSE class 12 Economics paper 2019 was a bit difficult as compared to the previous five years.
Nipun Jha, Harshit Singh, Vanshika Singh from Delhi Public School (DPS) finds the economics paper easy except the few tricky questions from the numerical part. At the same time expecting to score 90% and above.
By analyzing the overall question paper it can be stated that the CBSE class 12 Economics paper was easy along with some tricky questions. The students after the exam came out of the examination hall with a wide smile on their face seemed satisfied as well.
CBSE class 12 examinations has started from February 15. The board has first started with the vocational subjects followed by the core subjects. The exams are going to end on April 04. After this CBSE will come up with the result for the academic year 2018-19. However, it is expecting that CBSE will release the class 12th result a bit earlier than the last year. This would also include the revaluation and the compartment result. Over 31 lakh students have appeared for CBSE board examinations 2019. Out of which over 13 lakh students have appeared for class 12th examinations.
