CBSE Class 12 Chemistry exam is of 3 hours duration and is of maximum 70 marks. There will be a total of 37 questions. Students will need to attempt the following type of questions for the Chemistry paper – Very Short Answer of 1 marks, Short Answer of 2 marks, Long Answer I of 3 marks, Long Answer II of 5 marks. The exam pattern for the CBSE class 12th Chemistry is also provided below –
Section A: Q. No. 1 to 16 are objective type questions out of which questions 1 and 2 will be of passage based questions carrying 4 marks each. On the other hand, question number 3 to 16 carries 1 marks each.
Section B: From question number 17 to 25 are short answer questions and carry 2 marks each.
Section C: This section will have short answer questions. Q. No. 26 to 30 will carry 3 marks each.
Section D: From question number 31 to 33 are long answer questions carrying 5 marks each.
