TISSNET 2021 Registration Ends in 7 Days; Last Date To Apply 15 Jan

TISSNET 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on February 20, 2021 across the country in specific exam centres and the last day to register for the exam is January 15, 2021.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is currently conducting the registration process for the TISS National Eligibility Test (TISSNET) 2021 on their official website i.e., tiss.edu. The last date to register for the examination is January 15, 2021. Applications sent by post should reach the designated office by January 20, 2021. TISSNET 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on February 20, 2021, across different centres in the country.

Interested aspirants fulfilling the eligibility criteria are requested to apply for TISSNET 2021 only through the e-application process. However, the candidates living in remote areas without any reliable internet services shall receive a hardcopy of the application form from the institute itself. For this, they must send a request via Speed Post along with the application fee to the Assistant Registrar (Academic), Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar, Mumbai- 400088. It is important to note that candidates using the e-application method are not required to send their receipt by post.

Candidates can apply for TISSNET 2021 by first registering on the official website i.e., tiss.edu. To do so, they must fill in the required credentials like email-ID, the sources from where they came to know about TISSNET, which device was used to search for the exam, etc. They have to fill in the security code correctly and click on the ‘register’ button to submit the details. After successfully registering, they must login to the application portal, fill the application form with the necessary details and pay the application fee.

Each aspirant filling the TISSNET 2021 application form can apply for a maximum of three programmes. Hence, they are advised to go through the description of each programme and carefully make a choice. No changes in the programmes shall be entertained once the admission process gets completed.

TISS authorities have provided three methods for paying the application fee. These include online payment by debit/credit card, net banking and cash deposit any SBI Branch through the specified challan. The application fee depends on the number of programmes and the mode of payment selected by the candidate. General category candidates must pay Rs. 1030 for one programme, Rs. 2060 for two programmes and Rs. 3090 for three programmes.

Eligible Goi-pms SC/ST/OBC(NC) candidates must pay Rs. 260 for one programme, Rs. 520 for two programmes and Rs. 780 for three programmes.  Candidates who are Not-Eligible Goi-pms SC/ST (only) have to pay Rs. 510 for one programme, Rs. 1020 for two programmes and Rs. 1530 for three programmes.  These charges are applicable for net banking or credit/debit card mode of payment.

Candidates using the challan method have to pay the same charges with Rs.10 reduction in the fee. This value along with the bank charges shall constitute the total application fee. Candidates must note that the last day to register for TISSNET 2021 is January 15, 2021.
