CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2019 Start today at 10:30 am; Next Exam is on March 05

The Central Board of Secondary Education is conducting the board exams of class 12 from today i.e. March 02, 2019. From today onwards, the exams will be held for the core subjects. The first core subject’s exam is for English Elective- N/ English Elective- C/ English Core. The exam is going to start at 10:30 am and will be finished at 1:30 pm. The students will be given 3 hours to complete the examination. However, the students are required to enter the examination hall at 10:00 am and after 10:30 am, no students will be allowed to enter the exam hall.

The next exam of class 12 is on March 05, 2019. This is for Physics. Its subject code is 042 and the timings are the same i.e. from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

In the examination centre, the students must carry the admit card. The invigilators will check whether the student is having the admit card or not. If the student will not have it then they cannot enter the examination hall.

In the current year, around 12,8,359 candidates are taking part in the board exam of class 12. Talking about the students gender wise then out of the total enrolled candidates, 7,48,498 are boys and 5,38,861 girls. As compared to class 12, the number of students are more in class 10. So, for class 10 board examinations, a total of 18,27,472 students are appearing while the number of girls is less than the boys. In class 10, 7,56,893 girls and 10,70,579 boys are taking part.

On January 11, 2019, the board had made some changes in the date sheet of class 12, The exam of Informatics Practices and Computer Science were postponed on April 02, 2019. Initially, they were about to be held on March 28, 2019. Similarly, the examinations which were scheduled on April 02, 2019 will now be conducted on April 04, 2019. These exams will be for Philosophy/ Entrepreneurship/ Human Rights and Gender Studies/ Theatre Studies/ Library & Info Science.

The board exams for the vocational subjects were started in the month of February 2019. For class 12, it began on February 15 and ended on February 27, 2019. The CBSE board exams 2019 for class 10 and 12 are being conducted at 4,974 examination centres across the country.

For class 10, the examinations started on February 21 and the first exam as for e-Publishing and e-Office. Their core subjects’ exams will begin from March 07, 2019 and the first core exam will be for Mathematics.

The Central Board of Secondary Education is a national level board. It is well known as CBSE. CBSE conducts the board exams for class 10 as well as for class 12. The exams use to be held in the affiliated schools with the board.
