The Class 12th Term 1 Biology examination was conducted today, dated December 18, 2021, by the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE. The examination was held for a duration of 90 minutes from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm across the country at various affiliated school centres. According to the CBSE guidelines, the students reached their respective examination half an hour earlier than the reporting time. The admit card provided by the conducting body was required to be carried for the examination. The Biology term 1 examination was conducted in a pen and paper offline mode. The students were provided an OMR sheet in which they marked the answers. The conducting body already provided the bifurcated syllabus and the examination pattern on their official website for the Term 1 CBSE examinations.

The students reported that the Biology question paper was entirely centered around the provided bifurcated syllabus and most of the questions were doable. The question paper was not lengthy and could be completed within the given duration. The question paper was made like the sample paper the conducting body had earlier provided. The Biology question paper consisted of 60 questions divided into three sections. All the sections were compulsory and internal choices were provided. Section A and B consisted of 24 questions each out of which the students had to attempt any 20 questions each from both the sections. Section C consisted of 12 questions out of which the students were supposed to attempt any 10 questions. All the questions were given equal marks and there was no negative marking for any wrong answer.
