Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has today, May 06, 2022, successfully conducted the Class 10 Term 2 exam for several languages. These include Sindhi, Malayalam, Odia, Assamese and Kannada. Each of these language papers were organised for a duration of 2 hours i.e., from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.Students at affiliated schools across the country gave the exam today, in the offline, pen-and-paper format.
Each CBSE Class 10 term 2 language paper conducted today comprised questions pertaining to grammar, comprehension and literature. While the grammar questions have straightforward answers, students are likely to find it difficult to judge their other sections. Consequently, determining the final score is also going to be tricky.

Calculating the tentative score
Each CBSE Class 10 Term 2 language paper conducted today covered three aspects – 1. Grammar-based questions, 2. Literature-based questions and 3. Composition-based questions. The correct answers to grammar-based questions have been discussed in the video-based solutions uploaded online. Candidates can directly determine their score in such questions.
In case of literature based questions, parametres like relevancy of points, understanding of story, sentence structure, grammar usage, etc will be judged. However, a brief overview of such questions has been given in the answer key video. Students can make use of these parametres to judge their answers.
Finally, with respect to composition, factors like format, grammar usage and sentence structure will come into play. Such questions will also be evaluated on the basis of whether a candidate has succeeded in following the instructions. Educators have also discussed the composition-based questions in their videos.
CBSE Term 2 Schedule 2022
CBSE Class 10 semester 2 exams began on April 26, 2022, on a nationwide level. As per the official schedule for CBSE Term 2 uploaded on cbse.nic.in, Class 10 board exams shall continue till May 24, 2022, with the last paper being Information Technology. Tomorrow, May 07, 2022, CBSE shall be organising the exam for Sanskrit.
