Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today, November 30, 2021, successfully conducted the Class 10 Social Science 2021-22 paper. The exam was held for a duration of 90 minutes of 1 hour 30 minutes through the pen-and-paper mode. The paper covered objective-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs) pertaining to various topics in Social Science. Not even 12 hours have passed since the exam and already, candidates have been asking incessantly for the answer key.
CBSE will take a while to release the Class 10 SST 2021 answer key on their official website cbse.nic.in. However, there are several unofficial answer keys available on the internet. In fact, many coaching institutes and teachers have uploaded answer keys and solutions on their YouTube channels. Although they may differ slightly from the official draft, candidates may get a tentative idea of their scores.
Interestingly, if a candidate searches for the CBSE Class 10 SST answer key online, he/she will only find the keys for Set 4. In spite of the fact that the Social Science paper was held in four different sets – Sets 1, 2, 3 and 4. Even the videos on YouTube show answers to questions in Set 4 and not the other three. The reason behind this is not known. However, it is assumed that answer keys for remaining sets shall release soon.
In the meantime, candidates who appeared for the CBSE Class 10 SST 2021-22 Set 4 exam can take a look at the unofficial answer keys and calculate their tentative scores. To calculate the most accurate value, students can use 2-3 answer keys. Following is a table containing the answer key links along with solutions/explanations.
