The Central Board of Secondary Education is conducting the board exams earlier this year. Along with the board exams, the CBSE Board has also decided to announce the result of class 10 and 12 earlier. According to a board official, the CBSE Board Result 2019 is expected to be released by May 10, 2019. The result will be declared on the official website at cbse.nic.in.
As per CBSE official, the board is trying to complete the evaluation of the answer sheets by April 20, 2019, so that it will be able to release the result by May 10, 2019. However, there is no official information available whether the result of class 10 and 12 will be announced on the same date.
Also, the CBSE Board has released the notification regarding the result announcement earlier. According to the notification, Class 10 and 12 results will be released sooner this year most probably in the third week of May 2019.
Further, the official added that the board has taken this decision by following an order of the Delhi High Court. The board has made sure the students who want to take admission in various colleges or if they want to change the schools, they will be able to do so early. They will also get the related and relevant documents of the result.
This year, around 31,14,831 candidates have registered for the board exams of class 10 and 12. Out of the total registered students, 18,190,77 are boys and 12,95,754 are girls. Also, 28 transgender students have applied for the CBSE board exams in 2019.
The exams of class 10 will be finished on March 29, 2019, and the last exam will be of Social Science while for class 12, the board is conducting the last exam on April 04, 2019. The exams will be held for Philosophy, Entrepreneurship, Human Rights and Gender Studies, Theatre Studies, Library & Info Science.
In the previous year, the result of class 10 was declared on May 29, 2018. Before 3 days, class 12 was released on May 26, 2018.
In class 10, around 16,24,682 students enrolled in the exams. Out of the total appeared candidates, 85.32% of boys were qualified while 88.67% of girls were passed. The overall pass percentage was 87.60% including the boys and girls. In class 12, about 11,86,000 candidates took part in the exams. The overall pass percentage of class 12 was 83.33%.
Candidates will be able to see the result online on the official website i.e. cbse.nic.in or on cbseresults.nic.in. The links of class 10 and 12 results will be available on the homepage. In order to check the result, the students will have to submit the roll number.
Also, the candidates will get the chance to search for the result through SMS. Students will be able to find the result on Google console too.
