On Saturday, the Central Board of Secondary Education conducted the exam for Hindi Elective and Hindi Core. The exam was held on March 09, 2019 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Around 5,38,861 girls, 7,48,498 boys and 6 transgenders appeared for the exams. According to the students, the question paper of Hindi was moderate to difficult. Some students also said that the question paper was quite lengthy. As per the analysis, it came to know that the students knew the answers but could not attempt the questions due to the lack of time.
It was a common statement of the students that overall the paper was moderate to difficult. However, Section C was difficult that Section A and B. The reading section was easy and also the poetry portion was not as much challenging because the questions were asked straight forward. Section A had two questions of 16 marks. Four questions were asked in Section B. The questions were of 19 marks. Section C had a total of 45 marks. There were a total of eight questions. So, overall, the students were required to attempt 14 questions.
Some students said that the paper was easy for those candidates who had done the revision a day prior. They are expecting good marks.
In the Literature portion, most of the questions were from NCERT. But in Set-I, question number 5 of Mass Communication had two very twisted questions.
Today i.e. on March 11, 2019, the students appeared for the exam of Sociology. The next exam is on March 11, 2019. It is for Chemistry. The exam will be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
The CBSE Board also revised the date sheet of class 12 on January 11, 2019. For this, the board issued a notice. According to the notice, the exams which were scheduled on March 28 and April 02, 2019 got postponed. The exams of Informatics Practices and Computer Science will be conducted on April 02, 2019. While Philosophy, Entrepreneurship, Human Rights and Gender Studies, Theatre Studies, and Library & Info Science will be held on April 04, 2019.
After the completion of the exams, it is expected that the students may get the result of class 10 and 12 before or on May 10, 2019. The result will be announced online at cbseresults.nic.in.
