In a very unexpected series of events, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released CBSE 12 Result 2019. The result was expected to be out in the 3rd week of May. However, students were taken aback when the Central Board announced the result today at around 12:30 pm.
The result of class 12th 2019 has been announced on the official website, cbseresults.nic.in. In order to check the Result, candidates need the website and click on “Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) 2019” In there, candidates need to enter roll number, school number, center number, and admit card number. The result will be available in the PDF format mentioning the score in each subject.
Topper Scores 499/500
This year, two girls have topped the exam with 499 marks out of 500. Aglasem congratulates Hansika Shukl, from DPS Meerut, and Karsiahma Arora, from ASB Public School. Hansika has secured 99 in the English subject and 100 in the rest of the subjects, she is the topper in Arts stream. Hansika didn’t take any coaching for the 12th board preparation. She dreams to pursue Psychology Honors.
The second position in CBSE Result 2019 has also been secured by a girl, Gaurangi Chawla from Rishikesh. She has secured 498 marks out of 500. Also, Aishwarya Rai from Bareilly and Bhavya from Haryana secured 2nd position. This year, a total of 18 students scored 3rd position in which 11 are girls and 7 boys.
Girls outshine boys by 9.3% in CBSE Class 12th Result 2019
In all, 13 lakh candidates registered for the CBSE class 12th exam and of these, 1287359 appeared for the exam. The overall pass percentage this year is 83.4%. The pass percentage for male candidates is 79.4% and for female candidates, it is 88.7%. The pass percentage for transgender, specially aided, and foreign schools are 83.3%, 90.25%, and 95.43%.
The highest passing percentage is from Thrivanthampuram. which is 98.2%. Next, the passing percentage from Chennai and Delhi are 92.93% and 91.87% respectively. From the last year, the overall pass percentage has been increased by 0.04%.

Students can also directly Google to download the result. In the browser write, CBSE Result, then in the top result, a snippet will appear. In there all the required details or refer the embedded link of the official website. Next, candidates can also check the result using Digilocker feature. Visit the CBSE website and click on ‘Digilocker’ option. Here enter the login details, and check the board result.
