Online registrations for the Common Admission Test 2021 has started today at 10.00 AM on the website iimcat.ac.in. Candidates desirous of admission to management degree programs in the Indian Institutes of Management and other top B-schools in India are advised to visit the website, register and fill up the application form starting from today i.e., August 04, 2021. The last date to apply for CAT 2021 is September 15, 2021 (till 05.00 PM).
The CAT exam is conducted on a rotational basis by one of the various IIMs in India. This year, IIM Ahmedabad is the conducting body of the CAT exam. The official information brochure has already been released online and the complete procedure to apply online has been described along with details of the application fee.
How to Apply for CAT 2021?
Online registrations and form fill-up for CAT 2021 is available on the official website only. Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to register and apply online for CAT 2021.
1st Step – Open the website iimcat.ac.in using any compatible internet browser.
2nd Step – Click on the Register option under New Candidate Registration.
3rd Step – Now, candidates have to fill up the registration form with details like name, DOB, email ID, mobile number etc.
4th Step – After verifying the OTP, candidates have to submit the form to generate the User ID and Password.
5th Step – Using the User ID and Password, one can log in to access the CAT Registration Dashboard and click on Go to Application Form.
6th Step – Candidates have to fill up the application form with correct personal details, communication details and address details.
7th Step – The next step is to upload scanned documents. Candidates have to upload scanned images of latest passport-sized photograph & signature as per specifications.
8th Step – Now, applicants can proceed to fill up the CAT 2021 Application Form with academic details, work experience, and proceed to select the program and choice of test cities.
9th Step – Select the payment method and pay the application fee online.
10th Step – After successful submission of the application form, the candidates must generate a print-out of the confirmation form.
CAT 2021 Application Fee

- General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 2200.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST and PWD categories have to pay a fee of Rs 1100.
