CAT admit card will release today at iimcat.ac.in. IIM Indore will be issuing the admit card to all those candidates who have successfully applied for the exam to be held on November 29, 2020. To download the admit card candidates have to login with their user id and password at iimcat.ac.in to access the admit card link on the dashboard.
Apart from the allotment of exam center and slot, there are 2 other important and helpful feature of the CAT 2020 admit card that the candidates must know of. The first is the google map link of the exam center location. Second is the reference number that acts as the guide to the designated seats of the candidates at the exam hall.
The google map link is available on the CAT admit card PDF. The candidates can easily click on the link in the PDF, which will open the google map, pointing to the exam center. The advantage of this feature is that the candidates can see all the routes leading to the center location from their residence, roads, nearby places, and even travel time and distance from it. This can help the candidates plan the journey to the center in a very convenient manner.
Talking about the reference number, it is a unique ID allocated to each candidate on the admit card. It is not sane as the registration number of the candidates. The reference number of the candidates will be used at the exam hall to guide candidates to their exam hall and seat at the center.

Other than the reference number and the google map link, the candidates can also check important details in the card like the allotted exam center address, test city, test time / session, date, and day of the test. Personal details of the candidates with their photo and signature is also available in the admit card.
The only 2 things that are to be taken care of by the candidates are the pasting of the photo on the admit card in the provided space, and the sign to be done in presence of the invigilator on the exam day. The photo to be pasted must be done before the exam. It must be the same as the one uploaded in the online application form of CAT 2020.
The candidates have to report to the exam center as per the slot time they have been allotted.
With the admit card, candidates have to carry one valid id proof, in original. It can be any a College ID, Employee Id, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter Id Card, Aadaar Card, Identification Affidavit. The PWD candidates must also carry PwD certificates. o stationery items will be allowed inside, writing pad and pen shall be available at the exam hall which candidates have to return after the exam.
CAT 2020 exam will be held in an online mode for 2 hours. There will be a total of 100 questions asked in the exam form Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA).
