Common Admission Test 2020 admit card will be available for download on October 28, 2020 from 5:00 PM onwards. Once released, the admit card of CAT 2020 can be downloaded from the official website, iimcat.ac.in. This year, IIM Indore is conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020 which is scheduled to be conducted on November 29, 2020.

To download the admit card, candidates have to visit the official website of the entrance exam. On the homepage of the website, candidates will need to login their user id and password as obtained after completing the registration process. On submitting the login details, your admit card is displayed on the screen. Finally, candidates can download and take a print out of the admit card on the day of the entrance exam. It consists of the personal details of the candidate as well as the exam details like exam date, timings, address of the exam center, etc.
There will be three sessions namely in CAT entrance exam: verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning, and quantitative ability. Candidates will get a time limit of 40 minutes to solve each section and they will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section. Amid the pandemic, IIM Indore is all set to conduct the entrance exam around 156 test cities spread across the country.
This year, there have been some critical changes in the entrance exam. The time limit has been reduced from three to two hours. Furthermore, the sectional time duration of CAT has been reduced to 40 minutes from 60 minutes. Those who will pass the entrance exam are eligible for admission to management courses, including PGP, PGDM, PGPEM, EPGP, PGPBM, PGPEX, at various IIMs and other B-schools across the country.
Aspirants must reach the exam centre as per the schedule mentioned on the admit card. Do not carry any electronic device like a calculator or digital watch, etc inside the exam centre. Jewellery or any metal item is also not allowed to the examination hall. Also, you have to remove jackets and shoes before entering the exam room.
Candidates appearing for the CAT 2020 exam will need to carry the one valid id proof, in original like a College ID, Employee Id, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter Id Card, Aadhaar Card, Identification Affidavit. They will also need to carry an undertaking for the COVID-19 safety where they will be required to provide information about their health and other issues. Also, candidates are allowed to carry masks, sanitizers (small transparent bottle), gloves, and small transparent water bottles.
