IIM Calcutta will declare
Previously on January 01, 2019, it was reported that CAT Result has been leaked on the website. Some students were even able to check their overall percentile using technical skills. IIM Calcutta continuously denied the reports but the word spread like wildfire and create too much chaos. Hence, to clear all doubts, IIM made an official announcement in which it confirmed CAT 2018 Result date as January 5. Following the announcement, TCS also corrected the error occurred in the CAT website.
The wait for the performance review in the CAT exam will be over tomorrow. So, after checking the exam score, candidates can plan their admission to the academic year 2019-21 accordingly. Top percentilers will able to get the admissions in IIMs, IITs, FMS. Candidates who couldn’t perform well in the examination can appear for other exams that are about to take place in the coming months. The top seven exams to appear are MBA CET, SRCC GBO, PGDBA, MAT, ATMA, IRMA, MICAT.

#1. Maharashtra CET
Common Entrance Test for MBA (MBA CET) is conducted by DTE Maharashtra. It is a state level examination for admission to MBA/MMS/ PGDM programme. The exam is a gateway to pursue management studies from one of the top colleges of Maharashtra like JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA etc. MBA CET 2019 is scheduled to take place on March 09 & 10, 2019, and the registration will start in the third week of January 2019. Candidates can also apply via CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA scores.
#2. Shri Ram College of Commerce MBA
SRCC offers Post-Graduate Diploma in Global Business Operation. In order to take admission, SRCC conducts its own examination known as SRCC GBO 2019. Unlike Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi School of Economics (DSE), and Department of Financial Studies (DFS) which accept CAT score, SRCC conducts its own exam. The exam will conduct on February 25, 2019, and the registration for SRCC is starting in the first week of January 2019. Registration for DSE and DFS are open until January 06, 2019.
#3. Post Graduation in Business Analytics
PGDBA is the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics. This course is jointly offered by IIT Kharagpur, ISI Kolkata, and IIM Calcutta. This course ranks #14 course according to QS world ranking. For admission, candidates have to clear PGDBA 2019 entrance examination. The last date to apply is January 10, 2019. The test will conduct on February 17, 2019.
#4. Apply for 200+ Bschools via MAT
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is organized by All Indian Management Association (AIMA). The exam takes place four times a year for which the scorecard is valid for 12 months. Currently, MAT February session is currently ongoing. Candidates can apply for MAT either in paper-based mode or computer-based mode or both.
#5. ATMA by AIMA
AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is a national level examination which takes place 5 times a year. Candidates can apply for either of the sessions to take admission in the academic year 2019-21. The ATMA 2019 exam takes place in online mode and has 180 questions that need to be completed in 3 hours.
#6. PGDM in Rural Mangement from irma
Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) offers post graduate programmes in Rural Management. Candidates interested in this field can apply for the exam until January 21, 2019. IRMA accepts CAT/ XAT scores and conducts its own exam known as IRMASAT for the shortlisted candidates.
#7. Pursue PGP in Marketing from MICA Ahmedabad
Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad conducts MICAT to offer admission to management courses related to marketing and communication. The first session for the MICAT has been over and the registration for MICAT second window will close by January 30, 2019.
