CAT 2018 Registration to End Today at 11:59 PM; Photo Correction Window Opens Tomorrow

The CAT 2018 Registration will over on September 26, 2018, exactly at 11:59 PM. The timings has been recently changed from 5:00 PM to 11:59 PM. When the registration for CAT is over, we will able to know how many candidates have applied for CAT 2018. Last year, 2.3 Lakh students applied for CAT 2017 and 1.9 Lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The total number of registration is expected to rise this year.

After the completion of registration process, candidates can re-upload the photograph in the form. So, in case, a student has uploaded a blurred image, then he/she can use this facility. Earlier, candidates were worries as they have uploaded the wrong image in the application. With the announcement of Photograph correction window, the error can be rectified easily.

The window will open exactly at 10:00 AM from tomorrow on September 27, 2018. It will close after four days on September 30, 2018, at 5:00 PM. Candidates who have submitted the form successfully before the last date can upload the photograph again (if required). Students must use this opportunity wisely and the make the necessary changes after carefully read the CAT photograph requirements.

Until now it is not clear if the candidates will able to re-upload any other document. As the official notification is restricted for the change in a photograph only. Also, it is not sure if the correction window will be available after the first edit. Most probably, students will get only one chance to edit the form.

Regarding the application correction window, it is still dubious if it will open or not. As per reports, the window will not open this year by the exam conducting body. If the correction window opens then it will be a great news for the candidates. As students who have filled the wrong data by any chance will find a sigh a relief.

The CAT will conduct on November 25, 2018. For the exam, only a few days left you must give your best shot to secure admission in the top b-schools of India. 20 IIMs accept CAT score and more than 100 other management schools accept CAT Score.
