Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will release the CAT 2018 Admit Card tomorrow on October 24, 2018. The admit card will be available at iimcat.ac.in after 01:00 PM. Students who have registered for CAT 2018 until September 26, 2018, will able access hall ticket for the exam to be held on November 25, 2018.
Once the CAT admit card is issued, the download window will remain open until the exam day only. The hall ticket for the test can be accessed by following the three simple and easy steps. First, visit the official website and click on “Registered Candidate Login“. The, fill the login credentials as received during the registration process. After successful submission of details, click on “admit card” in the new window and download it for the CAT exam day.
After the downloading the admit card, candidates must check if all the details are correct. This year CAT 2018 Application Correction Window was not opened, there are many candidates who have filled wrong details in the forms and could not able to change the same. So, in case of any error, candidates can demand the change in details if the correct details are mentioned in the registration form. Otherwise, no request to change edit the data in the admit card will be entertained.
Importantly, candidates will not face any problem on the exam day unless they have made mistakes in Name, Date of Birth, Category, Photograph, and signature.
All the details will be verified with the mandatory photo identification proof that needs to be carried on the exam any.
At this point of time candidates must not worry, if they have entered wrong details in the form. Considering the mistake reason for cancellation candidature of applicant depends on the selection process of IIMs. As CAT is considered by IIMs only, for the rest of the institutes’ students have to fill the separate forms.
Though peculiar to this year, exam conducting body provided the facility to edit the photograph in the form. Candidates were given the four days window in which they could re-upload the image.
CAT 2018 Official MOCK test
A few days ago, IIM Calcutta has also released the Mock Test for CAT 2018. Candidates could access the mock test links to get familiar with the test-taking environment. Importantly, the sample test does not confirm the difficulty level, types or the number of questions that could appear in the exam.
Since only one month left for the exam, candidates must focus on harnessing their strengths and taking mock tests. Taking good quality mock test helps to know the type of questions that can appear in the exam. Moreover, mocks help to “How to change the test-taking strategy according to the difficulty level of the exam?“.
On the exam day, candidates must not get rigid with one question. If a particular question is taking too much time, then leave it and move forward for the next question. Moreover, always try to maximize your attempts by keeping the accuracy atleast 90%.
