IIM Calcutta is all set to release the CAT 2018 Admit Card today at 1 PM onwards. The hall tickets will be available at the official website of IIM CAT at iimcat.ac.in. To download the admit card candidates have to log in using their registration number and password. CAT 2018 is scheduled on November 25, 2018, and is going to be held across 147 cities across India.
The CAT 2018 Hall Ticket will be mandatory for the candidates to enter the exam center and appear in the exam. The CAT 2018 exam will be conducted in the online mode only. Apart from carrying the admit card in the exam center candidates are advised to also carry one valid photo id proof.
Candidates also have to affix a photograph on the admit card after taking the print out of it. Once the candidates’ CAT admit card is verified by the invigilators they will be allowed to start their exam.
To download the admit card candidates have to first visit the official CAT 2018 website and find the admit card link. Thereafter, they have to log in using their registration number and CAT 2018 password. On doing so the admit card of CAT 2018 will appear on the screen. This document can be downloaded in a PDF format and to be carried in the respective exam centers.

The CAT 2018 admit card will contain details like Name of the Candidate Registration Number, Date of Birth, Category, PWD Status, Photo of the Candidate, Signature of the Candidate, Date, Time and Day of the Test, Address of the test venue, Name of the allotted test city, Test system Number. It will be the candidate’s responsibility to ensure that all the details are correct and all the spellings in the admit card are correct as well.

CAT 2018 exam pattern will be that there will be a total time duration of 180 minutes duration and will have a total of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. An important thing to note about the CAT 2018 exam is that candidates will be allotted exactly 60 minutes for answering questions in each section and they will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section.
IIM Calcutta is the conducting body of CAT 2018. The governing body has released mock test links for the aspirants to practice before the examination. Thus aspirants can take advantage of this facility available on the official website of IIM Calcutta.
