As per the official prospectus of UGCAP 2021, the date and time of announcement of Calicut University trial allotment 2021 was yesterday, 5 pm. And, the deadline for editing after checking trial allotment is tomorrow, 5 PM.
At this moment, no separate announcement has been made on the official website, by the Directorate of Admission. However, candidates are advised to keep an eye out at the login page and see if they can check their trial allotments there. Upon announcement, candidates who had successfully applied for the centralized admission process can check their trial allotment results at admission.uoc.ac.in using the candidate login portal. If the trial allotment has been published, candidates can modify their applications if the need arises. They can do the necessary editing by 5 PM on August 27, 2021.
Please note that this is just the trial allotment that. The first allotment will be released at a later date. To check the trial allotment list, one can follow these steps:
Step 1- Visit admission.uoc.ac.in and scroll below the page
Step 2- Under the ‘Courses Offered’ section, click on the first tab that reads ‘UG’
Step 3- Click on the ‘Trial Allotment’ option and provide login details like CAP ID, password, etc.
Step 4- The trial allotment list will appear on the screen
Step 5- Candidates can now check their trial allotment and download the soft copy of the list for future references.
After this trial allotment, three more rounds of allotment will follow. The first allotment list will be released on September 01, 2021 at 5 PM. Upon receiving the allotment, candidates have to remit the mandatory fee to claim their allotment. If a candidate fails to do the same, then they will lose the allotment and will not receive any further allotments. Also, if a candidate is satisfied with the first allotment, then they will have to cancel their higher options.
The second allotment is scheduled to be released on September 10, 2021 at 5 PM. During this stage, if a candidate receives the allotment for the first time, then they have to remit the mandatory fee to claim the same. Just like the first allotment, if the candidate is satisfied with the received allotment, they have to cancel their higher options. The ones receiving allotment in the first and second stages have to take permanent or temporary admission in colleges.
Third allotment is scheduled to be released on September 23, 2021 at 5 PM. Candidates receiving allotment in this stage also have to remit the required fee to claim the same. In case a candidate has received an allotment in the first, second and third stages but is not satisfied with the same, then they should take permanent admission while retaining their higher options. Two special allotments for SC and ST category candidates will be released at a stipulated date on admission.uoc.ac.in.
