Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Cachar, Silchar is inviting applications to fill up 07 vacancies. The vacancies are for the post of Office Peon. Cachar District Judiciary has published an official employment notification in this regard at the official website i.e. cacharjudiciary.gov.in. Eligible and interested candidates are invited to submit their application in person or by post to the Office in Silchar. The last date receipt of applications along with copies of supporting documents is August 11, 2020.

As per the official employment notification advertised by the judiciary, 07 vacancies for the post of Office Peon are available in the establishment of the District & Sessions Judge, Cachar, Silchar. 06 of the vacant positions are unreserved while 01 vacancies are reserved for ST (H) candidates. Selected candidates are to be appointed at these vacant positions at a pay scale of Rs 12000 – 37500 per month. In addition, such candidates are also entitled to a Grade Pay of Rs 3900.

In order to apply for recruitment to the aforementioned posts, candidates must ensure that they comply with the minimum eligibility conditions at first. The age of the applicants must be at least 18 years as of August 01, 2020. Similarly, applicants must not be more than 38 years old as on the aforementioned date. However, relaxations on the upper age limit are applicable to candidates who belong to special reserved categories. SC/ST candidates can avail relaxation of up to 05 years while OBC/MOBC candidates can avail maximum relaxation of up to 03 years on the upper age limit as per government norms in vogue. Relaxations on the upper age limit are also applicable for any PWD candidates as per government rules. Only those candidates who have passed Class VIII and not more than Class XII are eligible to apply.

Applications for recruitment to the aforementioned posts must be submitted to the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Cachar, Silchar. The applications can be submitted either in person (by hand) or through speed or registered post. Eligible applicants can drop their recruitment applications at the dropbox which is kept in front of the main entrance gate of the court campus. Applications can be dropped from 10.00 AM to 03.00 PM during working days until the last date. On the other hand, those who wish to forward their applications by post must do so in a manner that they reach the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Cachar, Silchar during office hours on or before the last date. Candidates who are serving in government departments must ensure that they submit their applications through proper channel.

Candidates must first ensure that they comply with the minimum eligibility criteria before forwarding their applications. On the other hand, it must also be noted that incomplete applications are not accepted. Candidates must not forget to furnish all the necessary information, affix recent photograph, sign the applications and enclose all necessary testimonials before forwarding their applications to the office. Call letters to appear in the interview are to be issued through the official website after the completion of the application process. The detailed selection process is however notified through the website in due course of time. In addition, communication with the candidates are established through the registered/provided mobile number in the applications.
