CA IPCC 2018 Result has been announced on February 08, 2019 for old and new examination at icai.org. It is also available on icaiexam.icai.org, caresults.icai.org, and icai.nic.in. In order to check the result, candidates are required to enter their 6 digit roll number or Registration Number. Along with IPCC 2018 Result, a merit list is also published on the official website. CA IPCC 2018 Examination for Group 1 held on November 02, 04, 08 and 10, 2018. For Group 2, CA IPCC 2018 took place on November 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 2018.
There are 3 ways through which candidates can check their results. First, it can be checked through SMS. Then, it can be checked through E-mail and then lastly it can be checked from the websites. To check CA IPCC Result 2018, candidates can visit any of the official websites of ICAI. As the first step, click on the activated link for CA Intermediate (IPC) Results 2CA IPCC 2018 Result for Old and New Units Released018. Then, enter the login credentials such as PIN Number and Roll Number or Roll Number and Registration Number.
In order to check CA IPCC Result via SMS, candidates are required to follow these things: For Intermediate (Old Courses) Type CAIPOLD (space)XXXXXX – Where XXXXXX is the six digit Intermediate (IPC) Examination roll number of the candidate), e.g. CAIPCOLD 000128. To check result for Intermediate Examination (New Course) Type CAIPCNEW (space)XXXXXX (Where XXXXXX is the six digits Intermediate Examination roll number of the candidate), e.g. CAIPCNEW 000128 and then Send the SMS on 58888 – for all mobile services.
A Merit List has also been published on the website. It comprises of the details about the candidates who have secured on or above 55% marks and upto 50th rank on All India Basis. To view the Merit List, enter the Roll Number and Captcha Text. The qualified candidates will get a Rank Card also and it will be dispatched by Speed Post.
The Passing Requirement to clear IPCC is that a candidate needs to pass the Intermediate level and Final Examinations group – wise and not paper – wise. A candidate will be declared qualified or passed if he/she secures a minimum of 40% marks in each paper of both the groups. Also, the minimum aggregate of 50% marks in all papers.
After passing CA IPCC Examination, candidates are required to register for Practical Training of 3 years and CA Final Course. To pursue the training, candidates can register after passing one or both the groups. But, to apply for CA Final Course, the candidates tend to clear both the Groups. As and when the candidate qualifies the CA Final Exam, he/she becomes a Chartered Accountant.
