As per the meeting held recently which was conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Degree Online Services (DOST) will be very simple and user – friendly from this year onwards. The entire admission process till the last stage of Admission which is the Web Counselling will be conducted online. There are some of the points which will help students and will eventually save their time while taking admission.
Now, the process of DOST 2019 will be straight – forward such as their time of registration will be reduced. Also, the students will not have to visit the respective colleges for confirmation. The students can confirm online and visit the college on the first day of instruction. The main motive of this meeting was to reduce the problems which the students face. It was noted that some of the students face problems while taking admissions. They had to travel to the Head Office of DOST to solve their queries regarding the admission.
As per the meeting, The Result Data of CBSE and other boards will be captured directly from the respective boards and shall link to the Web / Technical Board. This is great news for the students as they are required to pay the college fee online at the time of the admission process. All the process of Online Admissions, DOST will be modified and announced on the day when the Board of Intermediate would announce the results.
The meeting was conducted by TSCHE and Dr. N. Srinivasa Rao Secretary TSCHE co – chaired the meeting. The coordinators of 74 DOST Help Line Centers and Principals of 1 identified Colleges attended the meeting. They also shared the problems experienced at the field level and based on their inputs and discussion held in the meeting the changes were implemented.
To take admission through DOST, you need to verify your aadhar number linked with your mobile number. Link your mobile number also with your Aadhar Number, Gender, Date of Birth. Visit the official website which is dost.cgg.gov.in. Then, pay the Registration Fee to register on DOST. After the registration, an OTP will be sent on your registered mobile number comprising of DOST ID. The OTP will be in alphanumeric form Use the login credentials, to complete the further registration process.
