BPSC Recruitment 2020: Vacancies Announced for Assistant Electronic Engineer, Application Begins from July 10.

BPSC is recruiting graduate electronics engineers to fill up 2 vacancies in Information & Public Relations department

Bihar Public Service Commission has advertised 02 vacancies for the post of Assistant Electronic Engineer in the Information and Public Relations Department. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the available posts. The vacancy details and other information can be found in a detailed recruitment notice published at the Commission’s website i.e. bpsc.bih.nic.in. Online registrations for the recruitment are commencing on July 10, 2020. The last date to register online is July 27, 2020. Candidates must deposit the application fees by August 04, 2020, while the last date to submit the online application form is August 12, 2020. Candidates can submit the hard copies of the application form and copies of supporting documents till August 20, 2020.

As per the advertisement, one vacancy is available in the Unreserved category while the other is in the Scheduled Caste category of the state of Bihar. Candidates need to have a graduate degree in Electronics Engineering/Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Engineering to apply for the recruitment. The maximum age of candidates as on 01.06.2019 must not be more than 37 years while the minimum age must not be less than 21 years. Relaxations on the upper age limit are applicable as per government norms. The details of the same and other conditions of ineligibility can be checked from the detailed notice.

Selection of eligible candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examinations and interview. Candidates are awarded a maximum of 85 marks based on their merit in Matriculation, Intermediate and Degree level exams. 15 marks are assigned to the candidate, based on their performance in the interview. A list of specified documents in the original must be produced at the interview stage. Based on the performance of candidates in these two aspects, the final merit list of selected candidates is prepared for the final appointment. Appointed candidates are eligible to receive compensation at the pay scale of Rs 9300-34800 at a Grade Pay of Rs 4800.

Eligible candidates willing to apply for the recruitment must register on the official website at first. A valid mobile number and email id is required to register online. Upon the completion of the registration process, the link to deposit the application fee is made available on the next day at 11.00 am. After the payment of fee is done, the link to fill up and submit the application form is activated on the next day at 11.00 am. Unreserved applicants need to pay a fee of Rs 100 to apply online. However, candidates belonging to the SC/ST category of Bihar and PwBD candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 25. Candidates must note that after the application process, a hard copy of the application form along with necessary documents must be sent to the Commission.
