BITS Pilani is opening the facility for the registered candidates to make requests to change their exam date, time and center from May 10, 2019. The requests can be made online at bitsadmission.com until May 13, 2019, 5:00 PM.
As per the notice on the website, the Institute is receiving many requests from the candidates in regard to changing the BITSAT 2019 exam center, time and date due to clash with other exams, etc. Therefore the Institute has decided to open a request window online for such request. Keeping in mind the number of requests, the exam dates in such centers will be shifted to May 27, 2019.
The BITSAT 2019 exam dates lie between May 16 – 26, 2019 at various exam centers across the nation. The exam is being held in CBT format. The admit card of BITSAT 2019 has been issued from April 12, 2019, and the last date to download the admit card is May 10, 2019.
The candidates can download the admit card using their application number and password. After the candidates have downloaded the admit card they need to paste a passport size photograph on the space provided. On the exam day, the candidates have to carry the printed admit card and not the e-admit card.
Along with the admit card the candidates must carry a valid photo Id proof. Note that for the candidates whose exam center, date or time change requests are accepted have to download their new admit card again using a similar process mentioned above.
The BITSAT 2019 admit card will have the candidate’s name, the application number, test center address, uploaded signature, the concerned course for which candidate has applied, exam date and timings and the CBT password.
In case the candidates are unable to get their admit card after the exam center, time and date change requests they have to contact BITS Pilani at 01596-242205, 01596-515330 or email them at admnoc@pilani.bits-pilani.ac.in.
BITSAT is BITS admission test, that is held on a yearly basis for admission in BE, BPharm, MSc courses in the BITS campuses located in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. This year the exam is being held in 49 cities in India and 1 center abroad (Dubai). The cutoff marks to take admission in BITS campuses ranges from 250 marks to 400 marks. The highest cutoff marks are usually witnesses by the Pilani campus and in the computer science subject.
The exam is a total of 450 marks with MCQ type questions from Physics, Chemistry, English, Mathematics/Biology. There are 150 questions in all with 3 marks in each question. There is a negative marking if 1 marks for each wrong attempt.
