This year too, CBSE has increased the number of questions but only in few subjects. In session 2019 students attempted the total 27 questions.
Changes In Question Paper
CBSE examination controller, Sanyam Bhardwaj has confirmed that the pattern of the question will be as similar to the competitive examinations. There will be more objective type questions. But at the same time, there will be no multiple choice type questions. So, this will make the students study each and every topic deeply and with proper understanding.
Along with the objective questions, the question paper will also consist of 2 marks, 3 marks, and five marks questions. There will be a total of 14 questions of 2 marks or 3 marks each and 3 questions of 5 marks each. Despite 10 objective questions, there will be a total of 20 objective questions in the paper.
CBSE Board has started its preparation for the implementation of these changes and this will be informed to all the affiliated schools after the declaration of class 10th and 12th result 2019.
Elimination Of Chapters
CBSE class 12 Physics and Chemistry question paper will include around 10 to 12 numerical questions. From the Chemistry syllabus, Solid State unit has been removed and also Group 15 from the p-block. While in physics too, there is an elimination of some of the chapters. Apart from this CBSE is planning to remove some of the chapters from the other subjects which not play any role in the competitive exams.
CBSE will inform all the approved changes to the schools officially after the result of academic session 2018-19. So, students if you are preparing for class 12 2020 board exams then be prepared for the upcoming new changes in the examination pattern. The main objective of the board behind this to improve the learning abilities of the students which could also help them to crack the entrance exams. As it seemed that there are many students who able to score good marks in class 10th and 12th but not able to get a good rank in any entrance exam. Thus, CBSE has decided to come up with this initiative for a session 2019-20.
