So finally, the results have been declared by the Bihar Board for the Intermediate Examinations that were conducted between 21 February to 28th February. The 2nd position has been shared by Pragya and Shikha Kumari. Pragya and Shikha both belong to Simultala School and have shared the score of 452 Marks together.
The results for the Bihar Board have been declared by the Education Minister, Krishna Nanda Prasad Verma. This year, the exam was conducted at 1426 exam centers and the about 17.70 lakh students have appeared for the exam. Out of these candidates, 8,91,000,243 were boys whereas 8, 78, 794 students were female candidates.
The candidates can check their result on the official website of Bihar Board i.e biharboard.ac.in. Since many students would be online checking their results, it is possible that maybe the page may not load. Thus do not worry, students will also be able to check their results on the alternate website indiaresults.com. The students can check the result by visiting the official website. Now, on the official website, the students have to enter the details such as the roll number and other details and click on submit. The result will be shown on the screen. Once the result appears on the screen, the students must take a printout of the result page and should keep it secured with them.
Those students who did not make it till the end of the race must not get disappointed as from June 28, those students will be able to apply for the compartment exams through the official website. The results for the compartment exams will be available on the official website in the month of July, 2018.

This year also, the result for the Bihar Board has been a part of a controversy. The students were previously sure that the result will be declared on 20 June. But an unbelievable incident took place. About 43,000 Answer sheets of the students were stolen from Gopalganj and were later found that the Answer sheets were sold to the Garbage Dealer. However, later the answer sheets were recovered from there and this is why the results got delayed for the Bihar Board Exam.
Along with the above issue, last year students also complained that the pass percentage was less because of the difficult exam pattern. Thus, this year the exam pattern was changed. About 50% questions asked in the exam were Multiple Choice Questions.
