The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the Class 12 English model question paper. The exam is scheduled to be conducted tomorrow, February 04, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The question paper link is available here. Candidates can refer to this paper to understand the exam pattern and the important instructions relating to the exam. Also, candidates will have better clarity about the important chapters and concepts from the syllabus.
Exam Pattern:
There are a total of 107 questions in the paper. The maximum marks is 100 and the total duration of the exam is 3 hours 15 minutes. There are 2 sections in the question paper. Section A comprises 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying 1 mark. Candidates have to attempt any 50 questions and mark the answer in the OMR sheet provided to them. The MCQs each have 4 options. Section B consists of descriptive questions, which are to be answered in a separate answer sheet. The total weightage of Section B is 50 marks. There are 7 questions in this section.

Important Instructions:
The candidates have to mark the answer in the OMR sheet using black or blue ballpoint pen only. Also, there should not be any markings or symbols present on the OMR sheet except the answer bubbles. In case candidates attempt more than 50 MCQs, only the first 50 will be considered during evaluation. Section B questions have sub-questions each carrying different marks. Therefore candidates are expected to answer these questions carefully, based on the marks of each question.
Also, candidates will be provided with 15 minutes of cool-off time before the exam commences. Candidates can use this time to read the question paper, understand the questions, and plan which of the questions to attempt in the exam. This will save time during the rest 3 hours. Candidates should not use whiteners or blades in the OMR sheet. Candidates should not carry any prohibited items into the exam hall like bits of paper and electronic devices.
