The Bihar School Examination Board has issued an extension notice regarding the Class 11th admission on their official Twitter handle. Earlier, the application form filling dates were July 19, 2021, to August 03, 2021. However, the candidates can now apply for the same from August 04, 2021, to August 10, 2021, on the official website i.e. ofssbihar.in. This decision was taken mainly due to the release of the CBSE Class 10th result on August 03, 2021. The candidates can check out the official prospectus on the website and post going through the same they can apply for the admission process.
The required eligibility for the application is passing the Class 10th examination from a recognized board. The admission of the candidates in Class 11th will be done on the basis of the merit list drawn by the aforesaid board. Meanwhile, the candidates who wish to apply for the BSEB Class 11th admission can follow the steps below to apply:
Step 1: The candidates should begin by visiting the official website of BSEB OFSS i.e. ofssbihar.in.
Step 2: On reaching the homepage, the candidates are required to find the link of Class 11th application form 2021 at the bottom of the page. Upon clicking, the candidates will be reverted to the official registration page of OFSS.
Step 3: After clicking on the I agree term, the candidates will be redirected to the page of the common application form. Thereafter, the candidates have to enter their Board Name, Year of passing, Exam Type, Date of birth, Roll number, Candidate’s Name, Parent’s name.
Step 4: In the next step, the candidates have to enter the Name of the School, Address, District, Year of Joining, Nationality, Gender, Religion and Blood Group. Post this, the candidates have to specify the Correspondence address in detail.
Step 5: Thereafter, the candidates will be required to enter the option of the college along with the stream they wish to opt for. The candidates can choose at least 10 colleges where they wish to apply. In the next step, the candidates have to upload their scanned passport size photograph.
Step 6: Post this, the candidate has to move to the next step i.e. paying the application fee online of Rs 350. The candidate may choose to pay the application fee using any of the online methods i.e. Debit/Credit or Net banking.
Step 7: In the end, the candidates should save a copy of the duly filled application form for future reference.
The board will go through the application forms and post complete scrutiny, it will release the first merit list for the successful candidates. The candidates whose names appear in the first list will be called for counselling and final admission.
