The first day of the BITSAT 2021 examination commenced on August 03, 2021, till August 09, 2021. The examination has commenced today in two shifts i.e. Shift 1 and Shift 2. The BITSAT Shift 1 was concluded from 9 AM to 12 Noon while Shift 2 was concluded from 2 PM to 5 PM. The candidates who have appeared for the examination have shared their feedback of the same. As per the rules, the candidates who appear for the BITSAT examination get their score on the same day.
According to the students who have appeared for the examination, the overall level of the examination on the first day was somewhere between Easy to Moderate level. The candidates found the level of the questions to be of easy level, however lengthy at the same time. Some students who have appeared for the exam said that questions in the Physics and Chemistry sections were straight away from the NCERT book. However, they found the level of the questions in Mathematics comparatively more difficult than of JEE Mains 2021. Amongst all the subjects, English and Logical Reasoning emerged as the easiest paper.
Talking about the topics asked in the BITSAT exam, the physics section saw questions based on Communication, Modern Physics, Semiconductors. The level of the questions asked was easy. While the Chemistry section saw a lot of questions from Polymers, Electrochemistry, Metallurgy, Surface Chemistry. In the Mathematics section, Algebra has the maximum weightage and questions from Binomial Theorem, Quadratic equation, Complex numbers were mostly asked. The candidates found the questions to be lengthy. At last, mental ability and English paper were doable and most of the questions asked in the exam could be easily attempted by the candidates.
The safe score for the BITSAT 2021 can be around 300+ and the candidates who participated in the exam easily scored around 350 marks without the bonus. The students found the exam to be comparatively easy and lengthy than the JEE Mains exam. The candidates who have their exams in the upcoming days can take a cue from the topics asked on Day 1 and try to prepare accordingly. The candidates can also use the memory-based papers of BITSAT to practice and know their overall preparation level for the upcoming examination.
