Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE) has declared the result of secondary that is 10th, and senior secondary that is 12th, result of June 2019 exam today. BBOSE conducts 10th and 12th board exams twice a year in June and December.
BBOSE Result June 2019 has been published at bbose.org. To check results, students need to go to the website and click “Result of Secondary & Sr.Secondary First Examination June 2019” which is scrolling at the top of the page.
The page to check results opens. Where, students need to enter five details to login – select exam (secondary of sr secondary), roll number, DOB, accreditation code, examination centre code.
Result shows marks and passing status. It also contains enrolment number, roll number, name, father’s name, study centre, date of birth, photograph.
Top 20 percentile cut off details will be published by the board in some time. Category wise top 20 percentile cut off in June 2018 for OC, OBC, SC, ST, PWD were respectively 227, 278, 59, 9, 25. The corresponding cut offs in December 2017 were 437, 636, 115, 7, 60. In June 2017 they were 227, 278, 59, 9, 25. Data is not available for December 2016. However in June 2016, the cut offs were 80, 149, 22, 5, 7.
The open school board had conducted exams in the month of July, from July 10 to July 30. It was expected that result will be out this week only as last year the result was published on September 18.
Now the exam dates for December exam are expected to be announced in November or December. Then the exam will take place either in December 2019 or January 2020. A few days before exam, admit card will be released. The June exams are also referred to as BBOSE first exam, and the December exam is called the second exam.
Students will be able to download admit card also from bbose.org. To do so, they have to search by enrollment number, or by their name, father’s name, and date of birth.
The Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination is a government society. It provides open and distance learning mode education just like the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Through BBOSE, the state aims to make education accessible to all. The body was established in the year 2011.
In the year 2019, new fee structure was implemented. Class 10th students in general category have to pay Rs 1,000 enrolment fee. SC, ST, BC, EBC have to pay Rs 550. Females and PWD have to pay Rs 750. Respective fee amounts for class 12th students are Rs 1,150, Rs 600, and Rs 825. In addition, there is exam fee for theory and practical subjects. For theory, it is Rs 165, and for practical, the fee is Rs 80.
BBOSE provides school level education, vocational education, training for primary teachers as D.El.Ed., life enrichment courses. To enroll in the board, prospective students can go through the admission and registration details at bbose.org.
