Bhabha Atomic Research Centre is looking for eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Stipendiary Trainee and Technician. An official notification has also been published by the conducting body online for BARC recruitment, barc.gov.in. The applications are invited for the 50 vacant posts of Stipendiary Trainee and 04 vacancies for Technician. Aspirants interested in the recruitment can submit their applications before December 31, 2020.
As per the notification, BARC has announced the recruitment for Technician in Stipendiary Trainee in various trades and disciplines. These are as follows – Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Electronics, instrumentation, Chemistry, Plant Operator A/C Mechanic, Fitter, Welder, Electrical, Electronics Mechanic, Machinist, Instrument Mechanical, Welder (GMAW and GTAW), Mechanic Diesel, Machinist Grinder, Laboratory Assistant.
It is important to note that the candidates who are recruited have to undergo training. The tenure of which is, 02 years. During this period, they will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 16,000/- for the first year and Rs. 18000/- for the second year under Category-I posts. Those who are recruited under Category-II get a monthly stipend of Rs. 10500/- for first years and Rs. 12500/- for the send year. Those who are recruited as Technician get a monthly salary of Rs. 25500/- for Technician C and Rs. 21700/- for Technician B.
BARC Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment 2020 Detailed Notification
Candidates who are interested can submit their applications only after they meet the eligibility criteria. Those who are applying for posts under Stipendiary Trainee Category -I should have Diploma in relevant discipline engineering. Candidates who are applying for Stipendiary Trainee Category-I Chemistry should have a B.Sc degree in Chemistry as a principal subject with Physics and Maths. 12th pass candidates are eligible to submit their applications for Plant Operator and Laboratory Assistant Category-II posts. For the rest of the posts of Category-II, applicants should have passed 10th class with minimum 60% marks.
To submit applications for Technician- C (Boiler Operator), candidates must have passed 10th class with Boiler Attendant’s Certificate. Candidates who are applying for Technician Painter should have passed 10th class with 60% marks.
Candidates can submit their applications for BARC recruitment by visiting barc.gov.in. They first have to register themselves with the website and then proceed to submit the BARC applications. Candidates also have to pay the application of Rs. 150/-Category-I posts, and Rs. 100/- for Category-II and Technician posts.
The selection of candidates for Category-I posts is based on the written examination and interview. Candidates first have to appear for the written examination that is conducted for 40 MCQ questions. Thereafter, candidates can appear for the interview. However, for Category-II posts & Technician, BARC will conduct 03 stages – prelims, advanced test and skill test.
