The Bank of Maharashtra (BOM) had released the official notification for recruitment for the post of Generalist Officer in Scale 2 and 3 on January 27, 2022. The notice regarding this hiring was displayed in several leading and local newspapers. For these posts, BOM will release an online application form on February 5, 2022. Candidates interested should visit the official BOM website and register themselves.
The application form window will close on February 22, 2022 hence all candidates are requested to fill it out before this date. This form is being released for the “recruitment process” of 500 vacancies created in the Generalist Officer in Scale 2 and 3. Vacancy Details
A total of 500 posts are currently vacant in the BOM Generalist officer post. To know the detailed division of vacancies, follow the section mentioned below.
- Generalist Officer Scale-II – 400 (UR-162, SC-60, ST-30, OBC-108, EWS-40)
- Generalist Officer Scale-III – 100 (UR-41, SC-15, ST-7, OBC-27, EWS-10)

Eligibility Criteria
Before filling out the online application form, candidates are advised to check out the eligibility criteria. This will cover the candidate’s age, educational qualification, and experience.
- Age limit: Generalist Officer Scale-II – 25 to 35 years and Generalist Officer Scale-III – 25 to 38 years.
- Educational Qualification: Graduation in any field with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of all semester/years (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) or CA/CMA/CFA.
- Experience: Generalist Officer Scale-II – Post qualification work experience of 3 years and Generalist Officer Scale-III – Post qualification work experience of 5 years.
As per the notice, the last date for application is February 22 and the exam will be conducted on March 12, 2022.

Step 2. On the homepage itself, candidates can find the “Careers” section. Click on it.
Step 3. This will guide candidates to a page containing all important links of registration. Click on “Generalist Officer Application Form”.
Step 4. An application form will open and candidates will have to fill out all their details in this including personal details, educational qualifications, and work experience.
Step 5. After this, candidates have to submit the scanned images of their photograph and signature.
Step 6. Lastly, to confirm the registration candidates are requested to pay application form charges.
Step 7. Take a printout of the confirmation and fee receipt for future use.

The selection will be done on the basis of an online test followed by a personal interview. Candidates qualifying both will be appointed the Generalist Officer in Bank of Maharashtra.
