Bank of Baroda has published a latest recruitment notification at bankofbaroda.in. The notification is for recruitment to fill up a vacancy for the post of Part-Time Medical Consultant. Candidates holding qualifications in General Medicine are invited to apply for the recruitment on the prescribed format. The last date of submission of applications to the Zonal Office in Chennai is January 11, 2021. Selected candidates are to be appointed on a Part-Time basis for an initial contractual period of 1 year.
As per the official notification, there is a single vacancy available for the post of Medical Consultant. The opening is available at the Zonal Office of the bank in Chennai. Selected candidates are to be appointed for an initial period of 1 year which can be extended to a maximum of 3 years subject to performance. Candidates holding an MD qualification are entitled to a consolidated monthly payment of Rs 40000 while MBBS degree holders are entitled to receive Rs 30000 per month.
Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2020 For Part Time Medical Consultant Official Notification
Bank of Baroda is inviting application from candidates holding MD in General Medicine with at least 3 years of experience. If candidates with MD qualification is not available, then the vacancy is to be filled with MBBS qualified candidates having 5 years of experience. Applicants must not be more than 55 years of age on the date of appointment.
The detailed selection procedure is indicated in the official notification. The Bank is to constitute a selection panel which includes the Zonal Head, Zonal HR Head, Dean of Medical College or Head of Department of Medicine in Govt. Medical College and the Bank’s Medical Consultant. Selection of the candidate is to be done at the discretion of the selection panel.
Interested candidates are required to submit updated bio-data as per the format provided with the official notification. In addition, candidates are also required to submit supporting documents on plain A4 sized paper. Candidates must also submit 2 passport sized photographs, AADHAR card and PAN Card details.
The aforementioned documents must be enclosed in an envelope addressed to the Assistant General Manager (HRM & CO-ORD), Zonal Office (HRM Department), Baroda Pride, New No. 41, 3rd Floor, Luz Church Road, Mylapore, Chennai-600004. It is not mandatory but, candidates may also send the applications in the prescribed format to hrm.sz@bankofbaroda.com before forwarding the hard copies through Registered/Speed post or by hand.
Candidates are advised to read the notification carefully for all the terms and conditions of the recruitment. It may be noted that Medical Consultant is allowed to hire the services of the Compounder only. For this, a Compounder Fee of Rs 5000 per month is to be paid.
