Bank of Baroda is recruiting eligible candidates to fill up the vacant posts of Business Correspondent Supervisor on a contract basis. This recruitment is exclusively for various districts of Gujarat and a union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. Total 49 vacancies are announced under this recruitment. BOB has recently published the recruitment notification on bankofbaroda.in. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their application before July 31, 2020.
Application is invited from ex-bankers who have earlier worked with any PSU Bank who have served up to the rank of Chief Manager or clerk. The retired clerk must have qualified JAIIB with a good track record. All the aspirants must have a minimum of 03 years of banking experience. Before applying, candidates must ensure that they should be a resident of the district they are applying for. Applicants must be proficient in the local language.
Candidates with any graduate degree with computer proficiency are also eligible for the announced post. They must have some basic computer knowledge of official tools such as MS Office, email, Internet etc. Those who have an M.Sc (IT)/ BE(IT)/ MCA/MBA is preferred. Candidates should be within the age range of 18 – 45 years at the time of appointment. Besides, candidates must have excellent command over Gujarati languages. They must know how to read and write Gujarati.
Applications can be submitted through an offline process only. The filled-in application form should only be submitted to the regional office of the Bank of Baroda of a particular district. Candidates should mention “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF BUSINESS CORRESPONDENT SUPERVISOR ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS” on the envelope before submission. Along with the application form, candidates also have to attach a copy of aadhar card, PAN card, document with current address, copy of 10th, 12th, graduation and post-graduation certificate employment proof in the previous organization.
Aspirants are asked to mention the details about the previous work experience. They have to give details about the name of the organization, their designation, period of service and the work responsibilities. Moreover, candidates are asked to provide the preference for districts for working after the selection.
The selection is conducted through an interview round by Regional Head. The schedule for the interview will be intimated later. The appointment to the announced post is on contractual basis for 12 months. During this period, they receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 15,000/- + Rs. 10,000/- for category A supervisor and Rs. 12,000 + Rs. 8,000/- for Category B supervisors. After the review of the candidate’s performance, the contract may get extended.
