Nalanda Open University announces the result of B.Ed CET 2019 for distance mode, on its official website, nalandaopenuniversity.com. Earlier, it was said that the authorities will be announcing the result on April 13, 2019. But the delay in the release date had happened due to some technical issues faced by the authorities. The University releases the B.Ed CET 2019 result for distance mode applicants in the PDF file format. This PDF file enlists the names of all the registered candidates, mentioning the marks secured by each of them.
To check their result, candidates can visit the official website of the Nalanda University. From there look for “B.Ed. CET (Distance Mode) 2019 Result” link and download the pdf. As the list consists of over a hundred pages, candidates can easily look for their name by pressing “Ctrl+F” keys. And searching their name in the whole pdf, easily. No reevaluation of the answer script facility is provided to any candidate.
Other than for distance mode, Nalanda University had also released the result for regular mode, nearly a month ago. Candidates can access their result by logging in with their Registration Number and Date of Birth. For B.Ed. CET 2019 distance mode, a candidate had to attempt questions from General and Academic Knowledge (50 marks), Subject Selective Questions (25 marks) and Essay Type (25 marks). The selection is solely made on the basis of this 100 marks CET for a duration of 2 and a half hours.
Merit is said to be drawn further by the University, based on the performance of the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test. Over 500 candidates are called for this round, as per their merit ranks in the list, regardless of their categories. The University makes it necessary for a candidate to secure at least 50% marks at their qualifying level exam and even fulfill the marks requirement at Matric, Intermediate, and Post Graduate examinations levels, in order to be selected. A selected candidate should have a minimum paid teaching experience of at least two years and must possess a Teaching Experience Certificate, claiming the same.
Further, on the basis of the scores secured by a candidate, selected candidates are called to appear for the counseling round. Note that, a candidate is allotted a seat under this programme after the University has verified all the certificates/ documents/ mark sheets. If any of these documents are found to be invalid, the candidature of a candidate will be canceled, even after qualifying for the B.Ed CET.
