Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is inviting online applications for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector. The vacant posts are advertised in the transport department. Eligible candidates can download the Advt. no. 09/2020 from Assam Public Service Commission website, apsc.nic.in. Online registrations link is available since October 14, 2020. Submit the APSC application form on or before the last date that is November 09, 2020.
All the aspirants are advised to fulfil the eligibility criteria as stipulated in the advertisement. Candidates must be a permanent resident of Assam state. To apply, candidates must have PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a proof of the resident of Assam state. Those who have a valid registration certificate of Employment Exchange in the state of Assam can also apply for the same. Moreover, aspirants must have passed 12th class and possess a 03 years Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering to apply for a Motor Vehicle Inspector.
While applying, aspirants age should not be less than 21 years. Also, they have to ensure that their age does not exceed the maximum age limit of 38 years as on January 01, 2020. However, the upper age limit is relaxed for the reserved category candidates as per the government India rules. For SC/ ST candidates the upper age limits relaxed up to 05 years, u03 years for OBX/ MOBC. Also, aspirants should be physically fit while applying for APSC Motor Vehicle Inspector post.

On reaching the website, aspirants have to navigate to the online recruitment portal of APSC and get themselves registered. After creating an account, candidates have to use the login details and start filling the application form.
Applicants have to pay the application fee for APSC Motor Vehicle Inspector recruitment using online mode. Those who belong to General/ EWS category have to pay Rs. 285.40/-, SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC candidates have to pay Rs. 185.40/-, BPL candidates have to pay Rs. 35.40 and PWBD have to pay Rs. 35.40/-. Fee once submitted by aspirants is not refunded under any circumstances.
Shortlisted candidates are called for the interview. As per the notification, the exact date for APSC Motor Vehicle Inspector interview date is not yet announced. Aspirants have to carry 10th certificate, 12th certificate, degree/diploma certificate, experience certificate, caste certificate, BPL certificate, physically handicap certificate, Declaration Form-A, any other documentary proof of any other claim.
