Eligible and interested students are required to apply for the exam online on the official website i.e., ao.nta.ac.in from February 16 to 25, 2021.

Assam Olympiad 2021

Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission has planned to conduct the Assam Olympiad 2021 examination on March 21, 2021. It has thus, entrusted the responsibility of conducting the exam to the National Testing Agency (NTA). The registration process for the examination began yesterday i.e., February 16, 2021. The last date to submit the online application form is February 25, 2021. The Olympiad is to be held in Mathematics and Science for Class VI to Class XII across various government schools in the state of Assam. Students wishing to appear for the examination can access the registration form on the official website i.e., ao.nta.ac.in.

NTA issued a public notice on February 16, 2021, about the Assam Olympiad 2021 examination on its official website nta.ac.in. According to the notice, the Olympiad is scheduled to be conducted on March 21, 2021. Eligible and interested students are required to apply for the exam online on the official website i.e., ao.nta.ac.in from February 16 to 25, 2021. Subsequently, authorities shall provide the correction facility for any rectification in the particulars of the application form through the online mode only. This correction facility shall be available from February 26 to 28, 2021.

Interested students can apply for the competitive exam by registering on the official website using their own or parents’ email ID and mobile no. Thereafter, they must note down the system-generated application number. The next step includes filling the application form and again, noting down the system-generated application number.

Candidates are expected to upload certain important documents during the application process. These documents include scanned images of recent student photograph, signature and PwD certificate (if applicable). The photograph can be coloured or black and white with 80% face visible against the white background. The student’s ears must also be clearly visible in the photograph. Students are also instructed to upload these images according to the dimensions and format specified by the NTA.

The three steps involved on the application process can be performed together or at separate timings. After successfully completing the third step, students must submit the application form. They are also required to download or print a copy of the confirmation page for future reference. Candidates must note that there is no application fee for Assam Olympiad 2021 examination. Moreover, they can apply for the exam only through the online mode. Application form in any other mode shall not be accepted. Each candidate is allowed to submit only one online application form. NTA shall not accept multiple application forms under any circumstances.

AO 2021 is scheduled on March 21, 2021 across various government schools in the state of Assam. The examination shall be conducted through the pen-paper mode for a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes). The question paper shall comprise of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) pertaining to two subjects – Maths and Science.
