Assam Board Issues AHSEC HS Admit Card 2019; Schools can Collect Admit Card from Board’s Office

Assam Board HS Admit Card 2019 Released

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has released the AHSEC HS Admit Card 2019 on January 30, 2019. The admit card is available for class 12 standard candidates. The schools are responsible to collect the admit card. The school authorities can collect the admit card from the board’s office. Some of the schools have been sent the admit card directly by post.

A total of 2.42 lakh candidates will appear for the board exams this year. The exams for class 12 will begin from February 12, 2019. The first and the last exams will be conducted for English and Biotechnology/ History/ Economic Geography and Music (Group C)** respectively. The exams will be held for a month. The exams will be finished on March 14, 2019.

The board will conduct the exams in the two shifts. The shifts are morning and afternoon. The timings are 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm respectively.

The practical exams for class 12 were scheduled from January 11 to 30, 2019.

It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card at the time of going for the board exams. The hall ticket contains all the necessary information such as the name of the students, the roll number of the students, registration number, enrollment number, date of birth, the details about the board, exam date, exam days, the timings for the exams, reporting time, exam centre, the name of the exam centre etc.

To prevent the board exams from the cheating and malpractices, the Assam board has taken various measures. To do so, all the exams have been installed with CCTV cameras. In some of the sensitive exam centres, the jammers will also be installed. In this way, the centres will be inspected.

Recently, the Assam board has submitted a list of sensitive exam centres to CID. AHSEC and CID will form a special team to keep an eye on the same centres.

For HSLC standard, SEBA will issue the admit card very soon. It is expected that the board will release the admit card online on the official website i.e. on sebaonline.org. In order to download the admit card, the students will have to submit the required details.

The board exams of class 10 will be held from February 14, 2019. The first exam will be held for English. The exams will be conducted for around 22 days. The last date of the exams is March 06, 2019. The last subject for which the exam will happen for MIL/ *English (IL).

Assam Higher Secondary Education Council came into existence on June 01, 1984. The board is well known as AHSEC. The board regulates, supervises and develops the system of + 2 stages in the State of Assam. The board prescribes the syllabus to the affiliated schools.
