APSCHE on behalf of Andhra University has released the short notice for the APRCET 2021 application process. As per the short notice, the application process for APRCET 2021 is going to commence from October 11, 2021. The board is going to activate the link of the APRCET application form shortly on the official website, sche.ap.gov.in/rcet.
The candidates can apply for the APRCET (Andhra Pradesh Research Common Entrance Test) 2021 if they have completed their post-graduation degree with 55% aggregate marks. A relaxation of 5% will be applicable in the aggregate marks for the candidates who belong to the reserved category. The notice further states that the APRCET 2021 exam is going to be held from November 22 to 25, 2021.
The board will activate the APRCET 2021 application form link soon on the official website and the candidates need to apply for the APRCET exam only via online mode. The application fee relevant for the unreserved category is INR 1300 for OC and BC and INR 900 for SC/ST and PWD categories.
APRCET is a state-based examination clearing that makes the candidate eligible to apply for admission in the full-time and part-time PhD and M.Phil courses in a total of 14 universities in Andhra Pradesh. Only those candidates who are willing to avail of the PhD in Science, Commerce, Management, Law and Pharmacy can apply for APRCET 2021.
The APRCET 2021 exam is going to be an entrance test held for 180 marks. The test is going to have two papers i.e. A and B, wherein part A is going to be 90 marks and questions will be based on Teaching and Research Aptitude. While paper B is going to be of 90 marks and will be having questions based on the subject as opted by the candidate.
The unreserved candidates need to have scored at least 50% marks in the APRCET examination to qualify the same and the reserved category students have to obtain marks equivalent to 45% to qualify for the paper. Once the written examination of APRCET is over, the candidates will be called for the interview round that is going to be held for 20 marks.
The APRCET final merit list is going to be prepared out of 200 marks in which 180 marks account for the written exam and 20 marks for the interview round. As per last year’s notification, the syllabus for paper 1 is going to be based on the UGC NET Paper 1 syllabus and the same for paper 2 will be uploaded by the board on the official website soon.
