State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra, is expected to announce the MBA Common Entrance Test (MBA CET) 2021 results soon on the official website mahacet.org. As per reports, the results are set to come out latest by October 20, 2021. The computer-based management test was held from September 16 to 18, 2021. Candidates who qualify this exam will be eligible to apply for management courses across the country.
Of course, seat-allotment will be based on available of seats, category-based reservation and merit. However, to be eligible for this admission process, students must score the minimum cut-off marks specified by authorities. As of now, these cut-offs have not be specified. They will mostly be announced along with the MBA CET 2021 results.
For reference, here are the top colleges in Maharashtra through CET, and their cut-off marks. These are based on the last-year cut-offs –

As evident in 2020 cut-offs for top 10 colleges, candidates are expected to score at least the 98th percentile to be eligible for admission in sought-after institutes. Of course, competition is tough and thousands of candidates tend to score more than 98 percentile marks. Due to this very reason, each college in the above list has cut-offs which are very close to the other’s value. While this was the situation last year, candidates can expect the same cut-off percentile this year. There may be minor differences but the range remains the same.
Of course, these percentile scores are meant for General category students and may be reduced for reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD. While the university will specify the “minimum qualifying marks” for each category, each institute will specify the “minimum marks to seek admission”. Hence, while tracking the cutoff’s of the state entrance test cell, candidates must also keep track of the colleges’ cut-offs published on their respective portals.
