The Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (APSWREIS) is scheduled to conduct the Andhra Pradesh Gurukula Patasalala Common Entrance Test (APGPCET) 2022 tomorrow – April 24, 2022. The examination for admission to the 5th grade will be conducted in offline mode across various centres in Andhra Pradesh.
The exam will be conducted tomorrow for a duration of 2 hours, from 10.00 am and 12.00 pm.
The admit card was earlier released on April 13 and was available to be downloaded by candidates appearing for the exam, and can still be downloaded on the official website –apgpcet.apcfss.in by entering the Aadhar Number and Mobile Number.

Exam pattern
The examination will be objective (MCQ) type consisting of 50 questions for 50 marks in total. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers, and no negative marking is present. The question paper will be given in both English and Telugu medium, however, in the case of any error, the question given in the English paper will be considered. There will be 4 sections in total, Telugu and English both consisting of 10 questions each, while Mathematics and EVS consist of 15 questions each.
- All candidates are required to carry a physical copy of their hall ticket and valid ID proof.
- Candidates are permitted to carry a water bottle and a clear pouch for stationery.
- The OMR sheet should be darkened using a black or blue ball pen, pencils are not permitted.

After the release of the result, admission will be given on basis of merit in the APGPCET 2022, a separate merit list will be made for girls and boys. Seats will be allotted as per merit and the school opted. The authorities possess the right to decline admission in case of any discrepancy found in the details of the student or if the student does not meet the eligibility criteria.
Tie-breaking Criteria
If the rank secured by two candidates is the same, the preference would be given to the candidate of higher age, if the age is the same, it would be given to the candidate with higher marks scored in mathematics, and if the case repeats, it would be given to the candidate with higher marks in EVS.
