AP TET 2018 Result Announced at results.apcfss.in; Know How To Check

Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2018 Result has been announced just now, on March 19, 2018, at 4:45 PM. The AP TET 2018 result has been published at official website results.apcfss.in.

The exam was held from February 21, 2018, to March 2, 2018. There were twenty sessions in all. More than four lakh candidates appeared in the exam. As per reports the exact number of registrations were 4,10,828. AP TET 2018 results have now been published by the Commissioner of School Education, Andhra Pradesh (CSE AP).

Now that result has been announced, candidates can check it from results.apcfss.in. However, some candidates may find the website to not open. Due to heavy traffic, the website is sometimes not loading. In the event that you come across this issue, do not panic. Simply try again in a few minutes.

How to check AP TET 2018 Result?

  • Visit results.apcfss.in. This is the official website where CSE AP has announced result of the Teacher Eligibility Test held in AP in Feb-March.
  • Enter hall ticket number and date of birth. Please make sure you enter valid details only.
  • Click on the button “get results”. This lets you login.

Result will then appear on your screen and you can generate marks statement. You can clearly see how much you have scored and whether you have passed or not.

As per reports, the passing criteria is 60 percent for OC candidates and 50 percent for BC candidates. Differently abled candidates have passing criteria of 40 percent. For others, passing marks are 40 percent. Also that the AP TET certificate or marks will have a validity of seven years from declaration of results.

Number of candidates that appeared in Paper I was 171052. In paper II, 181304 candidates appeared. In recently launched paper III, 58472 had appeared.

On February 15, 2018, 15605 candidates could not appear for exam as they could not get exam centres in relevant districts. CSE AP then accommodated them in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad centres on March 2, 2018.

Initially, the AP TET Result 2018 was supposed to be announced on March 16, 2018. But for some reason, it was delayed.

Before declaring results, CSE AP had also released official answer keys. Candidates could raise objections until March 9. After that, final answer keys were released. Calculation of marks has been done on basis of final answer keys only.

Teacher recruitment in Andhra Pradesh will give a lot of weightage to AP TET 2018 result. Candidates scores will contribute to 20 percent whereas Teacher Recruitment Test will have 80 percent weightage.
